Environmental Review Document

New Energy Corporation is proposing to construct a ‘state-of-the-art’ Waste to Energy Facility to process up to 330,000tpa of Municipal and Commercial and Industrial Waste that is currently directed to landfill and produce 28.2 MW of electricity and approximately 60,000 tpa of road base materials.

An Environmental Review Document (ERD) has been prepared by New Energy Corporation in accordance with Environmental Protection Authority procedures and is released for public review. The ERD describes the proposal, examines the likely environmental effects and the proposed environmental management procedures associated with the proposed development.
