Miles Mason, Business Development Manager of New Energy co-authors the Australian Energy from Waste Glossary
15 March 2016
The new WMAA Australian Energy from Waste (EfW) Glossary is now available. The Glossary is an engagement tool for the Australian waste management industry, developed to fill a gap in the information surrounding EfW in Australia.
The Glossary offers a standardised terminology to underpin a consistent dialogue with stakeholders on the issue of EfW. It is intended that the Glossary becomes a reference document that can be used in every state and territory.
The Glossary arose from work by the WMAA NSW EfW Working Group, and was led to completion by the primary author group of Miles Mason and Frank Klostermann.
The Glossary was subject to extensive consultation with WMAA members, the WMAA National RER Division, state RER working groups, various regulatory agencies and government bodies, and CSIRO.
