At New Energy, we are committed to sustainable business practices not only for the environment, but also for the communities in which we operate and the economy.
Globally, urban residents send over 700 million tonnes of waste to landfill or dumps each year, losing the embodied energy of the waste and increasing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by producing methane. The World Bank predicts that this will increase to 1.2 billion tonnes by 2025. New Energy will recover this energy and return it to industry and the community, ‘closing the loop’ on this valuable resource and reducing GHG emissions.
New Energy will maintain open lines of communication to work with the community on all aspects of their projects. Employment opportunities will be created in the community during the project design, manufacturing and construction phases. When each new plant is operational, 30 full-time staff will be employed and trained in this exciting new technology.
New Energy is supported by a passionate team of investors and directors. This experienced team will deliver commercially sustainable solutions for waste management and renewable energy delivery, ensuring New Energy’s longevity and reliability.
